On The Road: LACMA

Latin American art galleries designed by Jorge Pardo
The museum was quiet yesterday on a balmy Los Angeles afternoon. Other tourists chose the beach over art.
Here are a few shots of the museum, comprised of a series of buildings, each focused on a different period or school of artworks.

Diego Rivera's "Flower Day" 1925

Matta's "Burn Baby Burn" inspired by 1965 Watts riots

Interior Japanese pavilion

Korean Nobleman's hat, 20th C.

Brancusi "Bird in Space" in modern galleries

Chris Burden's "Urban Light"
